Join us to enjoy a free, home-cooked Indian dinner and to launch the a new green watchdog program. Our special guest speakers will be Minneapolis City Councilmember Cam Gordon and Minneapolis Parks Board member Annie Young, talking about current local issues and the impact of citizen participation in local government.
April 25: Dinner at 6pm, program at 7pm

The watchdog plan: establish a website that is a tool for citizens to take action on local issues. Hire a savvy activist to keep tabs on local government agendas, connect with advocacy groups, and bring it all to you through the website. Read more about the watchdog project.
Join us at the event to learn more about this project, and participate in an Instant Runoff Voting poll to help select the name of the website.
Can't attend the event? We need your donation to launch this program. We need to raise $3,000 in April in order to hire someone to be our watchdog on the ground. Up to $50 of your donation is refundable by the state of Minnesota (if you have not used your refund yet in 2009). Click here to find out how to donate online or by mail.
