This Saturday, Green delegates elected at local caucuses will gather to make nominating decisions in races for Governor and other statewide constitutional offices. Candidates include Annie Young, long-time Parks and Recreation commissioner in Minneapolis who is seeking nomination to run for State Auditor (www.annieyoungforauditor.com).
The statewide nominating convention of the GPMN will be held in Red Wing. It will be an outdoor gathering, starting at 10:00 AM in Pavilion #1 at Colvill Park, 515 Nymphara LN. (Colvill Park is accessible from US Highway 61 south of the main part of Red Wing.)
Delegates are advised to bring warm clothing. In case of bad weather, the convention will be held at the Red Wing Public Library, 225 East Ave. For questions about location call Amber Garlan at (651) 249-7286.
