Green Party Leader Named 'Outstanding Senior Citizen' at Ramsey County Fair

Rhoda Gilman, who was among the founders of the Green Party of St. Paul and the 4th Congressional District, was nominated by Amber Garlan, a fellow Green, as Ramsey County's "outstanding senior citizen." She received the award on July 17, the closing day of the Ramsey County fair. Her name will join those of other county-selected senior citizens in a Minnesota-wide competition at the state fair.

Special Endorsing Convention: Bee Kevin Xiong for Ward 6

A special endorsing convention will be at the Rondo Library (Corner of University Ave and Dale St, St. Paul) in the community meeting room, on July 9 from 3:00 to 4:00.

A special endorsing convention will be at the West 7th Mississippi Market (1500 W. 7th Street - just NE of 35E) in the community meeting room, on May 21 from 4:30 to 6:30

Green Party Endorses Johnny Howard and Jim Ivey for St. Paul City Council

The Green Party of St. Paul unanimously endorsed two candidates for St. Paul City Council on Sunday: Johnny Howard, of Frogtown, for Ward 1, and Jim Ivey, of Lowertown, for Ward 2.

Howard and Ivey are the first to join an emerging citywide Green Party effort to run a strong slate of candidates in St. Paul's first election to be conducted by Ranked Choice Voting.
